OH it's been a LONG day !!!!!

Lex's preschool trip to the Muncie Children's Museum was this morning. Mom and Riley went with Us. We had soooo much fun. It is perfect for their age. At bed time tonight Harrison told me his fav part was driving the "BIG TRUCK", thats what he calls semi trucks, and Lex said his was the Dinosaur, but he liked it all LOL. Had to be ready to leave the School at 8am and got home a little after one...we were tired!!!!

OF COURSE I COULDN'T GET THEM TO TAKE NAPS!!!!!!!!! That made the rest of the night real fun let me tell you!

Lex started his sports career today!!!!! His first t-ball practice. Didn't go well. Harrison threw fits because he wanted to play like bubby, and after the first 15 min of standing out in the field Lex was running over to me wanting this or that and throwing fits because he wanted to be done. He was just sooo tired he couldn't get into playing. Plus he's 4, I know i shouldn't expect quite so much.

Mommy was wiped out, so I did not complain when daddy decided to go out to eat!!! Wooo Hoo got to love a meal i dont have to cook!! hahaha

Yea I've Been Bad!!!!

Yes I know I've been bad this last week. We've been really busy!!!!

I had my New Student Meeting for school last week. Got my financial aid all finished up, so that is a big relieve! I took my COMPASS placement test yesterday and did a lot better than I thought I would do. YAY!!! I had a perfect score on my writing, and almost perfect on my reading. My adviser looked at the paper and said "Holy crap! Look at these! I wish I would always see scores like these!!" Made me feel good considering its been 10 years sense I've been in school. I placed into a collage level English class and Algebra 1. I'll have class Mon and Wed, from 10-11:30 and 1-2:30. We agreed that because the Radiology program is SOOO hard to get into I have to make sure my grades are really good, I don't want to get overwhelmed, so i'm going to start off going part time. (2 classes, 6 credit hrs)

Enough about me lets talk about the boys!!!

Lex has suddenly gotten very Huggie Kissie with me!!! I'm not complaining in the least!!! Trust me I'm loving it!!! It's just kind of odd. LOL It's been a while sense he's been like that. Harry was hugging on me and giving me kisses the other day and Lex said "AAAWWWW", jumped on us, wraped his arms around both of us, and said "Your my best friends". How freakin cute is that!!!!!! It was sooo sweet. Also at night now he begs for more kisses and huggs. I end up jumping back and forth between them 4-5 times before I get out of their room. The best of all is that he actually tells me "I love you mommy" with out me begging him to hahahaha!!!!


The boys got to go stay with Grandy and Papaw Larry while I was at my meeting last week. I asked Harrison if he wanted to go to aunt Nans or go see Grandy. He got all excited and yelled "I wana see my Grandy" hahaha. They had a blast running her all over there huge yard and going down to feed the horses in the field behind their property. We ended up staying late because we were having so much fun hanging out! Its really important to me that the boys have all the memories they can of Our grandparents. I hate that they won't remember my grammy. We were sooo close, and she was so awesome, and she was soooooo crazy about those boys!!!!!!!!!


We had another crazy crazy weekend!!! Sat we had the whole crew over for dinner and some Song Star. Our game of choice usually!!! We are a bit competitive hahaha. It was supposed to be a girls night out but we couldn't get babysitters so it turned into a family night. lol After everyone else left my sisters and our friend Josh went up town and listened to a band play. Staying out that late prob wasn't smart because we had to be in Alex @8 for one of my best friends son's First Communion. wow. We had a great time hanging out with her family afterward.

4-Wheelers and Birthday Cake!!!!!

We had a GREAT weekend!!!

We spent all of Sat at Tim's moms waiting him to finish working on our new toy, and then taking turns riding it. I was kind of against the 4-wheeler thing at first but Sat won me over!!! Wow that is fun!!! Tammy had Devon, and Tee' brought Piper and Bane over, so Tim and Shane took turn turns taking the kids on rides. They loved it. Lex spent most of the time riding his little gas powered 4-wheeler beside the guys. He had sooo much more fun following Daddy and Papaw than riding by himself. It helped him gain a little confidence back. He had a nasty spill the last time he rode at the beginning of winter, so he was a little scared getting back on it. Once he saw how much fun we were having, he was all for it!!!! Tammy and I got some great pics. I'll put some up as soon as i can.

Sunday we had my whole family over for dinner and a VERY late b-day party for Harrison. YES I SUCK!!!! I had a big party planed for both of the boys birthday, but unfortunetly that was the weekend that I ended up in the hospital. SOOOOO that didn't happen!!!! I couldn't let him at least not get a cake, so even though it was almost 2 months late, we had cake!!!!! Thankfully he's still little enough that he didn't know it was late. LOL So other than moms usual stress attack over getting the house ready for visitors, we had a great day. We had Chicken Taco soup and b-day cake, GREAT MIX!!!!!



I'm going to pass on the recipe for the Chicken Taco soup. It seems odd but its SOOO GOOD!!!

1bag boneless ckn breast
2 cans each of corn, black beans, kidney beans
1 big can of tom sauce
2 cans of chopped tom w/chillies)
one onion chopped as small as u can
1pkg taco seasoning
shredded cheese
sour cream
chopped fresh tomato (if u want)

If u want to make it go a little farther u can add a large can of chopped tomatoes. U can double everything but trust me it already makes quite a bit!!!! To add spice u can add a second taco seasoning or chili powder.

boil the ckn. poor off water and let cool. Cube or shred ckn. Add other ingredients and let boil until the onion is tinder.
Top off your bowl with a little (or a lot lol) of the cheese, some sour cream, and some tomato

we've ran all week

Ok sooo.... This Pic sums up our week fairly well HAHAHA!!!

That's my niece Riley in the middle there. My sis Mallory and I had ran to Anderson then to Alexandria to a little store I love that has a little of everything, and then to one of our fav spring and summer ice cream stops. This is what my backseat looked like when we finally got home.

I've been going crazy all week trying to get things done for school!!! I'm freakin out a little over the COMPASS placement test i have to take. The math is kicking my butt.

For those who don't know I'm planning on going back to school in the fall!!! I'm going to be going to
Ivy Tech for Radiology. I'm really excited, and really scared at the same time!!! Considering my 10 yr. reunion is in a few months, Its been a little while sense I've had to crack the books!!! So I'm slowly losing my mind trying to get everything done that I need to do.

Thankfully I'm still on med leave from work from my little hospital visit last month so that gives me a lot more time. Its been sooo nice being at home with the boys every day. Best part...my house is clean and I'm caught up on laundry! YAYAY hahaha

Easter

We had a really fun Easter. The boys Loved their chicks. Their Easter eggs "Hatched" just like mommy said!!! hahaha So I'm hearing a lot of cheeping. ALOT!!! lol

Its better than trying to keep decorated hard boiled eggs in the fridg for who knows how long !!!! hahaha

We went to church with Tim, Tracy, and Nic. (Tj's dad, stepmom, and lil sis)
Then to see the Easter Bunny. They wouldn't have anything to do with him. I had to go up with them so that we could get a pic. On the way home I asked Lex why he was scared of him. He said " Cuz he's BIIIG mom JEESH!! He's Freakin me out!!!" hahahahaha What could I say to that logic?

We had a late lunch with my family at my sister Mirandas house. Lots of fun! Kids running crazy all day.

The next day I set out a Easter egg hunt for the boys. They had a blast!

I've spent the whole week doling out Easter candy and trying not to let them overdose themselves! All the usual holiday fun!!

Getting ready for Easter!!!

The boys and I had soooo much fun today.

I watched our nephew Devon for a few hours this morning. Or rather he babysat the boys. He's GREAT entertainment for them. They adore him and get so excited when they know they are going to see him.


After Dev went home we went outside and played in the new play house. Their loving it!!!!

Tee' dropped Piper off for the boy's first sleep over YAY!!! Tomorrow is her 4th birthday party so she stayed with us so Tee' could finish getting ready. We colored Easter eggs with markers. My fingers are still covered in it! We did an egg coloring sheet, went outside and played in the new house, and we decorated egg cookies. VERY FUN!!! The boys were all about seeing how much icing and sugar crystals could fit on a cookie, but Piper being Piper wanted them perfect and drew each line and filled each hole. She's so funny!!!

After dinner we watched a Scooby movie and now aaaaaaawwww all my little chicks are sleeping thank goodness....They have worn me out today lol

oh almost forgot. Lex broke his egg this morning. He insisted on getting "Him" out and petting it this morning and dropped it. SQUISH!!! Not good. He FREAKED! You would have thought his best friend had fallen off the face of the Earth the way he acted. Devastated!!! So Mommy got to boiling some eggs REAL fast. lol plus this way Harrison has an egg too that will "hatch" on Easter morning. I found 2 of the little chicks that peep when you put them in your hand so I think they will like them. Tim told me earlier that he thought I'd meant real chicks....he must have thought I'd lost my mind. Where would we put them hahahahaha

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!!!

The boys and I had a really nice day. Alex had his Easter party at Preschool. They had an egg hunt and colored and egg. He was so excited about it. The teachers had made little paper baskets to put them. Very cute. When we were home Lex showed me over and over, and told me that his egg was going to be his bestest friend! lol hummm that could be bad right......how long can u keep a hard boiled egg anyway. So my answer to this dilemma was to tell him that Eouaster Eggs were special and you have to keep them very very cold in the fridg and if your really really lucky and you take really good care of it, on Easter morning you may find that the egg hatched and you have a special chick. I really hope I can still find one of those little chicks that peep when you hold them!! Daddys going to eat it and i'll sprinkle some shell on the grass and put the chick in, and put it next to his basket.

It was spectacular outside so we played in the yard till lunch, and again after dinner. We made brownies and then went outside to work on their bike riding skills after dinner. Lex is doing really well, Harrison not so much....I'm sure this is my fault for not getting him a tricycle right? He has no clue. If we want to go on rides i have the feeling I'm going to have to get him a seat for mine lol.

Well my little darlings are playing in the tub, and waiting for me to come wash their hair so i will cut off for the night
